Editorial policy
Bold Regional News aims to make regional culture engaging without flattening local differences or presenting one account as the whole story.
Accuracy and context
We check names, descriptions and factual claims against suitable material available to us, and revise wording when a detail is uncertain or contested. We give traditions context and avoid claiming that a custom belongs to every person or community in a region.
Independence
Editorial decisions and story conclusions remain with the publication. Commercial relationships do not buy favourable coverage, and any material shaped by a partner is identified clearly for readers.
Corrections
If you spot an error, use the Contact page and tell us what seems wrong, where it appears and what would help clarify it. We review correction requests and update a piece when warranted, noting meaningful changes in the article.
Partner material and illustrations
Paid, gifted or partner-supported material is labelled clearly where it appears. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; when they are, we identify them as such and do not present them as documentary photographs.
Place is made of particulars
A region is more than a boundary. Its materials, flavours, customs and familiar settings tell a quieter story of how people make a place their own.
